Like most dental practices, you don’t think about your office as a small business. Do you ever lean back in your chair and wonder “Why are we not growing”, “Why doesn’t staff care about this place”, or “How can I get everyone to buy in”?
My suggestion… you should implement a 30, 60, and 90 day business plan for each person in your office. Have them each describe how they can change your business in small 30 day increments, then 60 days, then 90 days out. Not only have them describe how they can drive revenue, but also how they can possibly cut costs. Make sure you set a time to go back at the end of each interval (30, 60, and 90 days) to evaluate these goals and see if they are being met. This is a great way to keep people strategizing and moving your practice forward.
